Downtown Los Angeles needs a CENTRAL PARK - a main park that acts as the unifier for its rapidly growing downtown population. La Alameda is a plan to create a truly current & modern park design smack in the center of Downtown. On a sloped site with the Disney Opera House at the top & City hall at the bottom the park used the influences of Diego Rivera’s famous painting LA ALAMEDA & the life depicted in this ground breaking painting.
